"Tales of Gotland" is a collection of folk tales translated from Swedish.
The idea to publish a separate book of tales from the Swedish island of Gotland came from Elena Balzamo, a Scandinavian philologist, literary critic, and translator.
Work on the book
Extensive research was conducted in preparation for work on the collection of fairy tales. I studied old Swedish books and anthologies, illustrations, and folk art. A great deal of attention was paid to traditional costumes, ornamentation, and stylization.
A simple combination of two pure colors was chosen for the color scheme so that the book would convey not only a fairy-tale atmosphere but also the simplicity of the Swedish character.

The book is currently in its final stages of production.
A total of 45 illustrations were created for "Tales of Gotland".

"Amina and the Space Pirates" is an adventure novel for teenagers.
Work on the book
Working on the book was challenging and very exciting. This genre was new to me, and at first I thought my illustrative style wouldn’t suit the fantasy genre. But I managed to find the right visual language and blend the style of naive illustration with the fantasy world of sky pirates and ships.
The book is currently in its final stages of production.
