I’m Aleksandra.
A book illustrator who works at the intersection of traditional and digital techniques.
I love experimenting with textures and composition, mixing techniques and materials, and embracing whimsy and freedom.
My approach is characterized by attention to detail, the ability to listen to the author, and the capacity to interpret the text from different perspectives.

I graduated from the “Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts” with a degree in Art Design,
where I studied the fundamentals of drawing and painting, composition, design and typography.
At the National Research University “Higher School of Economics”, as part of the continuing professional development course “Illustration,”
I immersed myself in the art of comics, the fundamentals of book illustration, and book publishing.

Winner of the 2025 “Image of the Book” competition in the “Best Illustrations for Non-Fiction” category.
Long-listed artist for the “Non/Fiction Artist” competition at the 2025 International Non/Fiction Fair.

Three books featuring my illustrations have been published. Two more books are scheduled for release in 2026.
